All politicians are professional liars. It begins with their campaigns. They make promises they never intend to keep. They will say anything to get your vote, but when elected forget you exist. Let’s get to the truth. In a Democratic Republic, the people elect men and women to represent their needs and wishes. However, in the 21 st  century we elect rule over us, refusing to serve us. Yesterday, the judge who presided over Trump’s “hush money” trial, Juan Merchan, announced that Trump will be sentenced for his 34 felony convictions on January 10, 2025. However, he will not be imprisoned, fined, or even face probation. Instead, he will receive “unconditional discharge.” Trump is demanding a dismissal of all charges based on his stacked Supreme Court’s decision about presidential immunity. However, Jude Merchan offered this ruling. Eager to defend the failure of “W’s” administration to protect our nation from attacks which took the lives of nearly 3,000 innocent men, women, and children, they passed the Patriot Act less than two months after the cowardly attacks on 9/11. Among the other failures by the second worst president in history, was the creation of ICE. Over my 77 years as a patriot, 67 as an American interested in our political system, I have become greatly fearful as I watched our guarantees under the Bill of Rights removed by a corrupt government.
