My America is grateful for its diversity. We are a nation of immigrants. We are not perfect, but most try to be. We never ask for much, and we usually get less. The other America is occupied by men and women who came into great wealth at birth. Some obtained great wealth when offered “once in a lifetime opportunities” not available to the majority.
