I have a question to which I know I already have the answer, but I want you to tell me what you believe, unless you have been brainwashed by Trump and Fox News for the last 10 years. If you look at the facts and listen to your heart, would you describe Trump as a dictator today? Let’s begin with the facts, something Trump, his party, and his supporters hate more than anything else in the world. As he did in 2017, Trump is violating the Constitution every day he remains your illegitimate president. He is exercising powers which do not belong to the executive branch. In 2024, the corrupt and biased Supreme Court appeared to give him absolute power. However, this is not a reality. The once respected Court has become the most prejudiced and corrupt legal entity in American history.   Trump will no longer be forced to accommodate  his most avid supporters, who in private he refers to as “basement dwellers.” He will now be surrounded by his 756 billionaire supporters, who are more accurately known as oligarchs. He “cooked the books” in his favor throughout his failed efforts to become a legitimate businessman. His controversial victory on November 5, 2024 offered him another opportunity to play the role of a billionaire. I saw the signs, but ignored them. I wanted to believe that the American people were beginning to move forward and join all developed nations, moving bravely into the 21 st century. I have been wrong before, but this one is both painful and frightening. Statistics are not something I trust, most of the time. The mainstream media is no longer interested in facts, their goal is to increase advertising revenue. However, some facts, produced from statistical analysis after the election, are undeniable. The results of the 2024 presidential election proved that there are more of them than us. The number of people who share Trump’s beliefs in racism, misogyny, anger, hatred, violence, and revenge, or in a single word, “fascism,” is greater than the number of people who believe in the principles of what it once meant to be an American. The Truth Lives Here They obviously thought it would be funny, but it became another embarrassing moment for Trump’s “people.” After President Biden called a wannabe comedian, performing for Trump at Madison Square Garden on Sunday night, “garbage,” some of his supporters began wearing black garbage bags. Once again, these ignorant yahoos got it wrong. If they wanted to show support for the worst candidate in history, they should have worn something related to the term he uses for his “people” in private: Basement Dwellers.
