On January 20, 2017, Washington was changed forever. It’s composition for 241 years had been men and women who were patriots, loyal to the American people, and most were intent upon improving the lives of all Americans, while keeping them safe from our enemies, both foreign and domestic. However, since 1981 the former Grand Old Party began moving further to the right, and it was clearly divided between Moderates, the Tea Party, and a new fascist-leaning group calling themselves the Freedom Caucus. When Trump began his reign of terror, every man and woman calling themselves Republicans began to bow to the wannabe Fuhrer. Today’s Washington is filled with Fascists, Nazis, Incompetents, criminals, Traitors, and now Q’Anon Conspiracy Theorists.   Trump must be “punking” America. His list of nominees to head important agencies is composed of some of the most laughable men and women in America, none of which is qualified to make decisions about their own lives, and definitely not our nation’s future. Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart Trump’s entire life has depended on making complete fools of others. Not once in his life has he found it necessary or convenient to tell the truth. The orange buffoon is the ultimate con man. Those of you who continue to support him, those he refers to as “basement dwellers,” are the biggest fools of all. If you believe he will do anything he says if elected, there is something seriously wrong with your thought process. The evidence is undeniable, and to choose ignorance is purely moronic. Without his “basement dwellers,” Trump would be nothing but a cartoon, a caricature in the New Yorker Magazine. However, Trump would never see it: he is not intelligent enough to read the magazine, if he can read at all.
