Some of you might remember his close friendship with one of the greatest Republican senators in history, John McCain. They were inseparable, and frequently spoke the truth to the American people when no one else in their party would dare to rebuke the orange buffoon. However, after Senator McCain’s death on August 25, 2018, something happened to Graham’s mind. He turned from hero to traitor in less than a week. Arizona Senator John McCain lost his battle for life on August 25, 2018. He and Lindsey Graham were close friends, almost inseparable. Although my beliefs and those of Senator McCain were often in direct opposition, I admired him for the only reason which mattered: Mr. McCain always acted in a manner focused on doing what he believed was the right for the American people. I believed that he and Graham shared the same principles and morals. However, after Senator McCain passed, Graham became hypocrite number one.   Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart   It began in 1981. It was a slow but study process. First, Republican politicians had their free thought removed. They were required to obey Ronald Reagan without question. By the time George W. Bush was given the Electoral College by the Supreme Court in 2000, complete loyalty and the surrender of dignity, principles, and morality began the absolute demise of the Party of Lincoln. Between 2017 and 2021, the Republican Party imploded and right-wing politicians became Republicans in Name Only. We should all demand that right-wing politicians change their party’s name to something more realistic. “The Donald Trump Party” is too pretentious.
