Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart Thursday evening, Stephen Colbert announced that his show, “Late Night with Stephen Colbert,” has been cancelled. CBS management surrendered its First Amendment rights to Fuhrer Donald Trump. Another reason to boycott television news and most networks in general. For ten years Trump has pissed on, shit on, and flushed the Constitution down the toilet. Another thing I never thought would happen has happened. A broadcast network, with all the rights and guarantees of the First Amendment places its profits ahead of the future of our country, and the rights of the people to know the truth about corruption and crime in Washington.
