One is St. Jude’s Hospital, and the other is for the Humane Society. How is it possible that a newborn child begins what will probably be a short life suffering from cancer. They are the only pure humans. They have committed no sins, no crimes, and yet they face a painful and miserable short life. The same is true for our dogs and cats. They ask for almost nothing in return for an all too short life, offering us unconditional love and companionship. And, yet, some people mistreat them and even abuse them. As I watch them, I think about all the evil in the world today. Four names always come to mind. Each of them is a cruel and uncaring dictator whose only interest is in their personal pleasure. There are millions of men hoping that someday they will find a way to gain greater power and even more outrageous wealth. Few have the opportunity, so they serve those who do. We refer to them as oligarchs, and politicians. America’s greatest enemy has been Vladimir Putin. In the 1980s he was a powerful member of the KGB. But that was just the beginning. Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart If you haven’t been paying attention to Benjamin Netanyahu’s crimes against humanity, here is the latest. The Israeli military has begun its plan to remove every Palestinian from Gaza, despite warnings from other countries and various humanitarian organizations. [The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) meanwhile said further displacement and an intensification of hostilities "risk worsening an already catastrophic situation" for Gaza's 2.1 million population.] I look at it this way. Hitler hated the Jews, Trump hates anyone who is not pure white, Putin hates the LGBTQ community, and Netanyahu hates Muslims. Each of these men were or are brutal dictators. Evil is real. Malignant Narcissism: “Individuals with this condition exhibit a grandiose sense of self-importance, a need for admiration, and a lack of empathy, similar to other forms of narcissism. However, malignant narcissism also involves a tendency towards manipulation, aggression, and a disregard for the well-being of others, sometimes even taking pleasure in causing them harm.” This is most certainly an accurate description of your illegitimate dictator. However, these are only two of the personal traits  they share. Both men claim to love their countries. Both are liars. They love what their countries can do for them. The greatest president in American history was without a doubt, Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Rightfully known as “the People’s President, his policies were always focused on all Americans and protected the working class from greedy men who sought to control their workers by underpaying them for their efforts, requiring tortuously long hours and working conditions, and children were not exempt. On August 14, 1935, FDR signed the only perfect bill in our nation’s history. It was designed to guarantee a retirement fund for all Americans. It is known today as Social Security. It was fully funded by employee and employer contributions. The only government involvement needed was administration.
