Moscow 2013, Miss Universe, and Christopher Steele
In January of 2017 a dossier composed by former MI-6 agent Christopher Steele exposed collusion between Vladimir Putin and Trump to secure a victory for the failed businessman in the 2016 election. This information was released just days before Trump’s inauguration. However, the document could not be substantiated by Republicans and it was removed from the media. Was this another cover-up by our federal government? Not one part of the dossier has ever been disproven. Multiple investigations by unnamed individuals appear to suggest dismissing the document. However, uncovered lies from Trump and a post-election revelation seem to suggest that the dossier was entirely true. Another of Trump’s many lies throughout the 2016 campaign was exposed by Politico in 2017. When asked if he had ever met Putin, he replied: “I never met the man,” and went on to offer favorable comments about the Russian President/Dictator.
