Not once had he been prosecuted for his many crimes until May 30, 2024, when he was pronounced guilty on 34 counts of felonious actions. However, his Supreme Court virtually nullified his convictions, and gave him absolute immunity, preventing the continuation of additional court actions involving numerous felonies, including treason, and violating the Espionage Act. Trump created the unnecessary Department of Government Efficiency, promising that Elon Musk would reduce the national debt by more than two trillion dollars. Not only did he fail, DOGE continues to waste taxpayer money. The small amount of money saved by firing qualified and crucial government personnel has already been negated as Musk’s boy tech experts spend huge amounts of taxpayer money every day. Trump wants to build a “ballroom” in the White House. The cost estimate is $200 million. Each time he sends a group of national guard soldiers to waste their time and the Pentagon’s money, the cost surpasses $10 million. In his first 234 days, Trump has spent most of his time golfing, partying at Mar-a-Lago, and using Air Force One as his own, private aircraft, at the outrageous cost of $230 thousand per hour. I know this because in the 2010 Census, I was in a unique position to learn facts about homelessness in America few others will ever know. I met weekly with members of the Reno Area Alliance for the Homeless. These kind and caring people know the truth and from them I learned the reality of why and how men, women, and families become homeless. I was surprised that a percentage of our nation’s homeless population choose to remain in their situations. I believe that most people think that housing, clothing, and healthy food are all these disenfranchised Americans need. I was invited into the shelters. I was impressed. It is clear that my city cares about all of its people. The majority of the marchers were peaceful and voicing their anger at Trump for his illegal and immoral attempt to “ethnically cleanse” America of Hispanics, and anyone else who is not pure white. Local networks filmed a few less peaceful incidents, including a trash can set on fire, and one overturned vehicle. However, the right-wing propaganda machine, Fox News, did just the opposite.
