Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart I grew up in Los Angeles. I was raised by a single mother. My brother and I never knew that we were poor. We were happy and had everything we needed. Our only form of entertainment came from television or Saturdays at the local movie theater. Movies composed a large percentage of our pleasure when we were not at the beach or playing sports. All movies fit into categories which include love stories, comedies, action films, dramas based on real events or from novels, and stories based on the actual lives of real people. Therefore, when I was watching Amazon Prime a few days ago, and a promotion describing an upcoming documentary about Melania Trump appeared on the screen, I laughed so hard I began to cough. Melania Trump is the old, orange buffoon’s most recent trophy wife. Democratic countries elect governments to represent the needs and wishes of their people. Until 1981, America’s government functioned in this manner, although in a barely adequate manner. Today’s pretenders are entirely dysfunctional. Every country must pass an annual budget at the beginning of each year. The American government is unique, but, as always, not in a good way. Every year, they must agree to a “debt ceiling.” What this means is that arguments ensue based on political positions regarding which issues will receive funding and how much that might be. Trump 2.0 is a continuation of 2017-2021, he is doing nothing for our country and its people. Trump, “the Dictator Destroyer,” is dismantling important agencies, while he ignores inflation, and the fears of millions of our nation’s people. To damage our country further, the Destroyer selected the worst of the worst to fuck up everything which functioned, including Musk, Rubio, Hegseth, RFK Jr., and the rest. Some of the “very important” efforts by your mentally challenged president are forcing Greenland to be part of the U.S., making Canada our 51 st state, ending federal funding for education in the inner cities, dismantling law firms associated with many investigations into Trump’s never ending criminal life, and to sum it all up, “taking revenge on anyone and anything which exposed the real Donald Trump.” Hillary Clinton has the courage to tell the absolute truth.
