On Friday, Trump and Vance met with Ukraine President Zelenskyy in the Oval Office. When the fat old bully didn’t get his way, he and Vance began screaming at the leader of the country invaded by Trump’s puppeteer three years ago. Not what I think of as “presidential.” Then I realized Trump is not an American president. In just 40 days Trump has managed to alienate our European allies, create enemies on our northern and southern borders, and add chaos to the dysfunction which already existed in Washington. I am a proud pacifist. Violence never accomplishes anything, and no war has ever been “won.” Even when I was a martial arts instructor, my first attempt was to encourage my students to avoid violence whenever possible. Our oath: “I come to you with empty hands: I have no weapons. I can’t forget it. For three hours I remained horrified as a group of thugs and villains obeyed the orders of their demagogue and violently attempted to destroy a democratic process which would become the end of America. Trump does not know how to accomplish anything. Like other worthless public service employees, he is an expert at undoing the great things accomplished by others. Trump is THE greatest weapon of mass destruction in history. In just a day and a half Trump 2.0 repeated his action of 2017.
