Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart Between 2017 and 2021, Congress, the DOJ, and a corrupted Supreme Court allowed Trump to violate the Emoluments Clause for 1,460 days. That’s every day he was your illegitimate president. Trump continued to maintain control of his personal business interests, both foreign and domestic. After four years, Trump’s business interests reported a 2.4 billion dollar profit. The problem is that no one cared that he was violating one of the oldest entries in the Constitution. The frame workers of the Constitution included the Emoluments Clause to prevent undo influence from businesses both foreign and domestic.
