Think of America as an enormous boat. In the front are 813 oligarchs, and in the rear 340 million working men and women. The hearings to confirm Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense in the Senate are scheduled to begin today. It would be extremely difficult to find a less qualified nominee.
