The “Big Beautiful Bill,” or “A Huge Mistake?”
Some “Republican” members of the House are voicing regrets about voting for Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill.” I am aware that most Americans believe that members of the legislature read the bills presented to them before casting their votes. They are wrong. Members of the House and Senate rely on their aides to read and analyze each bill presented to them. However, they are far too busy campaigning for their next election, or attending events with the billionaires/oligarchs who pay for their votes to actually read and understand them personally. Uninformed voters were shocked when the “Mother of Fascism,” Marjorie Taylor Greene, expressed some regret while admitting that she had not read the document prior to voting in favor of Trump’s “Big Mistake.” Trump’s former “brother from another mother,” Elon Musk, left Washington but not politics.
