The worst man in the world is following the path of his idol and causing enormous harm to billions of people to satisfy his own ungodly needs. Trump is proof that “money is the root of all evil.” Nothing else, not sexual desire, or a desire to have all the latest “toys” comes close to the need to accumulate outrageous wealth. That was the easy part of this story. The mainstream media has enjoyed increased profits over the last 10 years as they focused their cameras on Trump incessantly. Sensationalism increases viewership, and therefore advertising revenue. They have no interest in the truth, only how much money they receive. Every major news network is owned by one of Trump’s oligarchs.   Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart America has become the land of criminals. For the rich and powerful, laws do not exist. I am not referring to Trump: he is not the only person above the law in 21 st century America. Our country is controlled by Trump and an administration composed of criminals and anti-Americans. His 902 oligarchs have no interest in the welfare of 340 million Americans, they want more money and more power. I am more sad than angry. My younger brother and I were little boys in the 1950’s. Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart Trump is clearly guilty of violating the Espionage Act, a federal law punishable by death if broken. However, Judge Aileen Cannon, who was appointed by Trump, continues to delay the trial until after the election. If he wins the election, he will pardon himself for his heinous crime. Another of Trump’s many, many crimes will go unpunished. Her excuse is based on the immoral and illegal decision by the Supreme Court about presidential immunity. Your president is above the law. Sentencing for his hush money case when he was convicted of 34 felonies is even more ridiculous. He was not your president when he committed those crimes. Originally sentencing was scheduled for five days from today. However, that, too, has been delayed until September, or later.
