Several statements from representatives and leaders of the 189 countries represented at the United Nations, told reporters from many nations that they found Trump’s disjointed speech at the United Nations hilarious, totally unrelated to the purpose of the event, and an embarrassment for the American people. Not a single reputable American news agency reported this fact. Why do they support Trump and not the American people? I can only put his rambling and incoherent speech in the context it deserves. For decades those who are intended to serve all Americans in Washington hid corruption including grievous felonies from the voting public. Most recently our failed politicians hid the fact that Russia was interfering in the 2016 election in support of Donald Trump although they knew the truth prior to election day. The results of Robert Meuller’s investigation into collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign team required years to complete. When it was “released” to the public, Trump’s Attorney General Bill Barr retracted it so heavily it was unreadable. His intention was to hide the truth. I have some physical problems as I move closer to being an octogenarian, but my mind is as sharp today as it was in my 30’s. However, he is no longer in the picture, Trump “is” the old man. He is 78 and a very old 78 both physically and mentally. Trump will be 80 years of age on June 15, 2026, 17 months into his term of office. By that time, he is likely to be in a wheelchair and unable to speak his own name clearly. But it’s what he said that revealed his fear of losing in November, and the fact that what is left of his mind is in serious decline. Previously , in debates with Hillary Clinton and President Biden, he refused to answer questions and talked over answers offered by his opponents .
