Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart Our Founding Fathers considered the First Amendment perfect and the most important paragraph written by man in history. It was the only amendment in the Bill of Rights which was not contested by a single member of the Constitutional Congress. It guarantees every person in the United States certain human rights which cannot be violated by the government or any other group or organization. However, it no longer exists. Trump continues to violate every sentence, every word written by the men who created our nation in 1789. “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” Every man and woman calling themselves a “Republican” makes no decision, votes for or against any law, without the approval of the Christian Religious Right.   Both with words and actions, Trump has admitted that he is the leader of the American Nazi Party, which is experiencing a growth in membership with every passing day the traitor is allowed to wear the title of President of the United States. Not a single member of the mainstream media has displayed the courage necessary to call Trump what he is: a Nazi. His gang of thugs called ICE has become his personal gestapo. When ICE began its brutal and illegal raids in Los Angeles a few days ago, hundreds of protestors marched in the streets. If I had an iota of respect for Trump, I would never use such an expletive. However, his choice to violate the Constitution, to ignore the law completely, is pissing me off in ways I never imagined in my most frightening nightmares. What is happening in Los Angeles is Trump taking a huge shit on the Law of the Land. It is a crime to use our nation’s military to wage battle against its own people. Trump ordered National Guard troops to quash the protests against his racist immigration polity in the City of Angels. That did not solve the problem. He is now ordering about 700 United States Marines to do whatever is necessary to halt American citizens from exercising their First Amendment rights. When will this shit end? If our military “leaders” continue to bow to the Nazi in the White House, how can America be saved?
