During the 2024 campaign, billionaire/oligarch, Elon Musk donated at least 270 million dollars to Trump’s campaign. After Trump’s illegitimate inauguration on January 20, 2025, it was immediately clear that Musk was Trump’s co-president. An unauthorized agency was created for Musk called DOGE: the Department of Government Efficiency. In reality Musk and his children were nothing more than a “firing squad,” removing thousands of men and women who actually work in Washington from their positions in critical government agencies. As of yesterday, May 28, 2025, the bromance is over. Think of America as an enormous boat. In the front are 813 oligarchs, and in the rear 340 million working men and women. In the middle are more than 20 million millionaires who want to be billionaires. The people would like to move forward, but they can’t. The problem appeared to be the enormous difference in the numbers. So many people in the back who wanted to move towards the front. However, after the super-rich brought their billions of dollars in gold onto the boat, the weight began to shift. As the riches grew, the bow began to slide deeper into the sea, and the stern began to rise. The working parts of the boat had been forgotten, and were no longer able to function as designed. How can we prove that the House of Representatives is dysfunctional? The Freedom Caucus is in control. In January of 2015, a small group of right-wing extremists calling themselves the Freedom Caucus took control of the House of Representatives. There are 435 members in the House, and right-wing extremists control the majority and have since January 3, 2022. I saw the signs, but ignored them. I wanted to believe that the American people were beginning to move forward and join all developed nations, moving bravely into the 21 st century. I have been wrong before, but this one is both painful and frightening. Statistics are not something I trust, most of the time. The mainstream media is no longer interested in facts, their goal is to increase advertising revenue. However, some facts, produced from statistical analysis after the election, are undeniable.
