Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart When our Founding Fathers confirmed the First Amendment in the Bill of Rights, they approved protections for the fourth estate. They were given the responsibility for exposing corruption and criminal activity within our federal government. I have the very sad duty to report an irrefutable fact that the fourth estate no longer exists in the 21 st century. Every major news organization in America is owned by a billionaire/oligarch, and supports Donald Trump and his Nazi political party. Not a single broadcast news network, ABC, CBS, or NBC is independent and has the courage to offer the American people the absolute truth about the “real Donald Trump.” Since 2015, the mainstream media willfully surrendered five times more coverage for Trump than all other politicians combined. He knew nothing about anything relating to governing our nation, and therefore did nothing, even when we needed leadership the most in 2020. Trump is directly responsible for a percentage of the more than one-million lives lost related to Covid-19. He told us: “it will just go away.” Although Jimmy Carter is one of the greatest Americans in history, but he was unprepared to be our nation’s president. Bill Clinton was the exception. The fiscal policy of the former Governor of Arkansas saved us from the failed policies of Reagan and George H.W. Bush. When he left office in 2001, the national treasury experienced a surplus. Then there was Donald John Trump. TRUMP FIALED MISERABLY AT EVERYTHING Trump was unfit for office at any local, state, or federal level.
