Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart I have written many stories about the Republican Party taking its final breath on January 20, 2017. Although this is a fact, it’s not surprising. For more than 15 years, when the TEA Party was allowed to invade the former Grand Old Party, all right-wing politicians began moving farther to the right. Today, they have become fascists. However, what I never told you in so many words, is that the Democratic Party no longer exists, and hasn’t for the last 80 years. In 1932, the greatest President of the United States in history was elected for the first time. Over the next 13 years, Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s policies were focused on the working man and woman; the majority. Although he was reluctant to enter into the second World War, he prepared our nation for the possibility. Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart Those of you who read me on occasion or frequently, are aware that I have solid reasons to allege the 2016 and 2024 elections were “rigged” by an arrangement between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. The method used in 2016 was primarily the worst thing to happen to the truth in history, social media. In 2024, U.S. companies discovered evidence encouraging them to claim that Russian hackers gained access to voting machines in all seven swing states and altered the results of the election. That is likely the truth. Anyone who compares the 2020 and 2024 elections, and possesses average intelligence and common sense, will find it impossible to accept the massive changes over four years. However, this does not change the abject failure of the Democratic Party to attract American voters.
