In my experience, not only has America become the most obese nation in the world, it is also the laziest. I’m not sure that the majority of our nation’s people care about their future or the future of their country. After President George H.W. Bush signed the Americans with Disabilities Act in 1990, handicapped parking spaces began to appear in public parking lots as quickly as possible. I praise President Bush for his action and the wisdom of Congress. However, with every good idea comes with it people who abuse the law. Many of the men and women using those spaces were clearly in possession of all of their physical abilities and chose not to walk from spaces farther away from the business they were patronizing. During his golf excursion to Scotland a reporter asked him about his frequent trips to golf courses in America. His response was such a big lie, it made me laugh out loud. "We put out fires all over the world. We did one yesterday, as you know, we stopped a war, but we stopped about five wars,” Trump said, while standing on a golf green, Tuesday. “So that's ah, much more important than playing golf. As much as I like it, it's much more important." Although his official schedule has not been posted, on the rare occasion Trump was in the White House between 2017 and 2021 his “office hours” were between 11 in the morning and two or three in the afternoon.
