Trump claims that his tariffs will force large corporations to return their factories to the United States. Of course, this will never happen. America’s motto is ‘profits before people.’ When these tariffs take effect, the result will be even higher prices for consumers. I believed that our presidents were intelligent men; more intelligent than me. However, in 2025 I know that I am far more informed and possess far greater mental competence than the buffoon in the White House. One fact proves that even Trump’s businesses would suffer from his ill-advised tariffs. None of his silly hats, etc., etc.,’ etc., are manufactured in the United States. The huge tariffs on China will force an increase of as much as 50 percent for his own merch. You might say ‘it’s too early,” but you would be wrong. One of Kamala Harris biggest problems was the short preparation time she had when President Biden resigned from his 2024 campaign. It is time right now for Democrats to consider the woman or man who will lead their party now. It cannot be cowards like Chuck Schumer, and other old white men. The new leader of the party of FDR must be young and progressive. If you still think this is too early, consider this irrefutable fact: Trump campaigned throughout his first illegitimate presidency, 2017-2021, at taxpayer expense, and continued until election day November 5, 2024. His campaign was seven years in length.
