Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart On July 13, 2024, I witnessed a bad actor attempt to make himself into a hero. Trump was in Butler, Pennsylvania. He was holding another of his many hate rallies. However, in the summer of 2024, his crowds were smaller than usual. He desperately needed something, anything to recreate the energy he experienced eight years ago. Trump had begun a relationship with Vince McMahon, the leader of the WWE. Vince’s wife, Linda, would become Trump’s Secretary of Education in 2025. I believe it was McMahon who had the idea to fake an assassination attempt. I WATCHED THE FILM AND IMMEDIATELY HAD ONE QUESTION WHICH REMAINS UNANSWERED TODAY Former Congresswoman, and Trump sycophant, Marjorie Taylor Greene, is questioning the validity of the accounts of that incident offered by Trump’s cronies and the Secret Service. Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart One year ago today, the media received a gift. A lone assassin allegedly attempted to take Donald Trump’s life. The story includes failures by the Secret Service, and a young man whose complete story has never been told. Another failure by the mainstream media. First, some questions. How was one man carrying a high-velocity rifle allowed to access a position from which he could have a clear shot at one obese old man? How was it possible that two attendees at the rally were killed, but the biggest, obese target, standing alone and unobstructed by other people or objects, escaped the assassin’s bullet? We know that the assailant had practiced using the rifle for several hours prior to his actions on that day. I continue to ask the biggest question of all, and have questioned the validity of the stories from many media outlets several times.
