If you’re not a resident of the Silver State, you probably don’t know who Joe Lombardo is and was. He is currently the Governor of my adopted state of Nevada. Prior to his winning the office of governor in 2023, he was the Sheriff of Clark County. He is also a Trump ‘suck-up.’ Lombardo is now appearing in television ads supporting his plan to release more land to developers who want to build more homes and apartment complexes in Nevada. He claims that if more living quarters are constructed, the cost of a home and the prices of rentals will be lowered. He ignores the increases in raw materials, land values, newer and more expensive codes, etc., etc., etc. He is a liar and a fraud. He is working for developers who are greedy millionaires and wannabe billionaires. Like all “Republicans,” or more accurately the “American Fascist Party,” Lombardo is owned by special interests. Fact: America is more than 30 trillion dollars in debt. Fact: When Bill Clinton left office in 2001, the national treasury boasted a surplus. Fact: Failed fiscal policies, two illegal wars, wasteful personal spending, and failing to lead our nation in the fight against Covid-19 by two Republican presidents placed our nation in enormous debt. Fact: If every individual and corporation paid their fair share of taxes, America would truly be the richest nation in the world without a single dollar in debt. Most of our serious problems would disappear. American politicians have convinced our poorly informed citizens that taxes are unnecessary and should be lowered. Bush’s failed economic policy which allowed the super-rich to increase their personal wealth while ignoring the waning lifestyle of the majority, I was laid off from my last job in the private sector. Bush, and Donald Trump all implemented the most failed economic policy in history. “Trickle Down Economics,” the policy which Reagan called “Supply Side Economics,” was created by your failed 40 th president, claiming that if the rich have more money, they will create good paying jobs for the American people. This was the biggest pile of bullshit in American history. The super-rich simply placed their additional profits in offshore accounts, or in the purchase of additional mansions or islands.    When Reagan left office in 1989, his failures left our nation in debt for more than a trillion dollars.
