God’s Biggest Mistake: Creating Mankind

I was in my twenties. I had grown up and was paying greater attention to my country and what lay beyond our nation’s shores. A funny thing about becoming aware and informed is that once you begin, you want to know more and more: your interest grows rapidly. Although I believed then, as I do now, that most human beings are basically good, evil exists, it is real, and it is frightening. It appears to be far more prevalent in the 21st century. It was during that part of my education that I formed a belief which is far more real today than it was in the late 1960’s and 70’s. “God’s biggest mistake was the creation of man. Not a single of God’s creatures destroys what He created for the sole purpose of increasing its personal wealth. This is unique among H H omo sapiens.
