A True or False Checklist For Donald John Trump
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart After four years and six months of Trump as your illegitimate president, I thought it was time to evaluate Trump’s performance. I will list some of the duties, responsibilities, accomplishments, and failures between 2017 and 2021, and his first six months of 2025, and honestly and accurately rate them as “true,” or “false.” Trump kept his campaign promises. False. His most important promises were to end “Greedflation,” and negotiate peace between Putin and Ukraine. The price of necessities continues to grow, and Trump’s ill-advised tariffs will soon force them to rise even higher. The invasion of Ukraine continues. There is no reasonable end expected in the near future. Trump claimed that the Biden economy was a failure, and he would ‘turn it around’ immediately. False. His failed fiscal policy of trickle-down economics has already increased unemployment, and his “big, beautiful bill,” will remove healthcare from millions or our nation’s most vulnerable citizens...
