This happened on December 2, 2025. Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart The first report revealed a conversation between Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, and Admiral Mitch Bradley. After a missile struck a Venezuelan speed boat, two survivors were seen in the water. Hegseth’s response was: “kill them all.” It was never confirmed that the boat was indeed transporting illegal drugs. Here are the facts, and whether or not the boat was carrying drugs, the action was illegal and immoral. The action after the first missile severely damaged the boat was murder. The individuals in the water were defenseless and offered no threat to the American vessel or anyone else. Hegseth simply added murder to his other crimes of being drunk and disorderly, assaulting women, and embezzling money from a military charity. Breonna Taylor was a 26-year-old Black woman who was lying in bed with her boyfriend. However, he has not been charged for his most serious crime against the American people. He alone is responsible for at least 100,000 of the more than 1,000,000 lives lost related to the pandemic known as Covid-19. Healthcare experts vary in the numbers but the estimates are huge. His failure to take action when he was first informed of an oncoming world health emergency in December of 2019, and fallacious claim that “it will just go away,” until Americans began dying in March of 2020, are the reasons an unnecessary number of our nation’s people lost their lives. Tens of thousands of American lives could have been saved if Trump and his failed cronies would have done anything to avert the dangers forecast by healthcare experts as the pandemic approached America.
