Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart Trump is completely incompetent, and he doesn’t care. Simply look at the men and women he chose for his administration. ‘Unfit for office’ is a huge understatement. I have reported Trump’s life of failure for more than 10 years. Seldom have I ever understood what he was talking about as he ranted on and on at his numerous hate rallies. When I did find some comprehension, he was either whining about how badly he was mistreated, or attacking someone who disagreed with his fascist and Unconstitutional policies. Today his speech is incoherent and makes no sense. What’s left of his little mind is deteriorating rapidly. Is disgusts me when Trump is referred to as the President. He is not my president and never will be. Only a patriot who loves his or her country and all of its people is an American. Trump is nothing more than an opportunist. I am nothing more, or less, than a 77-year-old man who has decades of experience and had the fortune to enjoy reading. I am what can be considered ‘self-educated.’ I try very hard not to be judgmental, but what I see happening in my beloved country and around the world in the 21 st century is unacceptable and frightening. Common sense seems to have been tossed aside and tyrants have become gods worshipped by the ignorant and uninformed. The United States is no longer the shining star, the epitome of what a democratic, free nation should be. It has morphed into a society more concerned with corporate profits than the quality of life for its people.
