Trump believes “what is good for him is good for the country.” From his violation of the law, using ICE as his personal gestapo, attempting genocide in America, to his failed and moronic military parade honoring his own birthday, Trump is an embarrassment to all other dictators past and present. Of course, this is what we should expect from a man with lower than average intelligence. No honest person can deny that Trump has become America’s first dictator, a Fuhrer. But this could not have happened without the assistance of a corrupt and biased Supreme Court. Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart Fact: There are no true Republicans in Washington today. In 1981, Ronald Reagan forced every Republican to take an oath of absolute loyalty. This was the beginning of the end of the once Grand Old Party, and the destruction of our Founding Fathers’ system of governance. Reagan’s three successors, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, and Donald Trump, adopted the same failed policies initiated by Reagan: absolute loyalty without dissention and free thought, and the failed fiscal policy of “trickle-down economics.” When George W. Bush and his V.P. Dick Chendy ignored the warnings of our security agencies and went on vacation in 2001, refusing to take their admonitions seriously. Without deliberation and compromise, democracy shrinks into non-existence and an autocracy is born. This is Donald Trump’s plan for America, and it has been fulfilled. Congress did not approve Trump’s declaration of war against Iran yesterday when he ordered our military to drop twelve 30,000-pound bombs on sites inside Iran which are allegedly dedicated to developing nuclear weapons. Not only did he refuse to follow the mandate of the Law of the Land, he ignored the entire Democratic Party. They were aware that it was fragile and even vulnerable. However, what I saw over the last 10 years, how the progressive changes of the previous 44 presidents were destroyed by one fascist old man, in concert with his failed, and cowardly party, and under the direction of his puppeteer.
