Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart In 2010 the Republican Party was invaded by a political organization created by the Koch brothers, calling themselves the “Taxed Enough Already,” or the TEA Party. They were so extreme their policies helped to make our government incompetent. However, they were too “moderate” for many of these incompetent men and women calling themselves “Republicans.” In 2015 a group of disgruntled men and women in the House created the most radical group within the GOP today, calling themselves the Freedom Caucus. These anti-Americans rejected any policy not their own, and fought not only with Democrats, they created dissention within their own party. He wanted to make his party, the once Grand Old Party, the most powerful in Washington for the remainder of his life. Not once did he accomplish anything which resulted in positive benefits for all Americans. THE DO NOTHING PARTY It is Moscow Mitch who created the “party of no” in January of 2009, promising that his party would do nothing until “that man was out of office.” Until this very day, he kept that promise. It was his obstructionist party which prevented the passage of legislation in 2023. In a normal year, the number of bills passed by congress ranges between 200-600. Last year only 34 pieces of legislation reached President Biden’s desk. PREVENTING THE VOTING PUBLIC FROM KNOWING THE TRUTH It was Moscow Mitch who prevented the American people from knowing that Vladimir Putin was interfering in our 2016 election in support of Donald Trump. In collusion with the Federalist Society, he maneuvered and stretched the law, allowing three unqualified and biased individuals to become Supreme Court Justices who are appointed for life. This is the single reason why the American government is incompetent, irreparable, and forever corrupt. In October of 2020, I lost all hope for the future of my beloved country. This was the third member of the Court appointed by Trump and his partner in crime, Moscow Mitch, in just four years. Second, they want to put thousands of American out of work by shutting down the government. I ask you, what good will these two actions accomplish for the American people? Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart   While speaking with reporters in Kentucky Wednesday, Moscow Mitch McConnell appeared to ‘freeze’ once again. He remained silent for about 30 seconds. Photos from the event appear to reveal Moscow Mitch as a very frail 81-year-old man. Questions about his health began some time ago when he displayed what appeared to be a purple discoloration on his hands, arms, and face. Recently, questions about his mental acuity have risen. Our government has a serious problem with age, created by the refusal from congress to establish term limits for itself. 19 of our nation’s 535 lawmakers are 80 or older. 54 of our country’s 100 Senators are over 65. The average age of all members of the House and Senate is 64. I strongly oppose agism: I am 77 years old. However, I find it unreasonable that our nation, whose average age is 38.2 years of age, is governed by men and women who should be at home in their rocking chairs with their grandchildren or great grandchildren sitting on

  Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart   There is no longer a “Republican Party.” Those who call themselves “Republicans” today are without leadership, morals, or principles. Speaker McCarthy is a joke. He is loyal to Trump, not to his country, and is a huge embarrassment to the title of Speaker of the House. The “old man of the Senate, Moscow Mitch McConnell, has never accomplished anything for his country. His goal has always been “party first” throughout his seven, six-year terms in office. He literally “ramrodded” his agenda through the Senate, including the appointment of the last three biased and unfit Supreme Court Justices. In collusion with the Federalist Society, six Republican-biased justices struck down a 49-year-old decision by a legitimate Supreme Court guaranteeing a woman’s right to make decisions about her personal physical and mental health related to the termination of an unwanted pregnancy. This was one of the darkest days in our nation’s 247 years, June 24, 2022. If the Cou
