Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart In 2020 Trump and Moscow Mitch McConnell finished their efforts to stack the Supreme Court in favor of the radical extremists on the right side of the aisle. With a margin of 6-3, these biased five men and one woman continue to attack the Constitution and allow Trump and his cronies to move our nation closer to fascism. No one will forget one of the darkest days in American history when the current illegitimate Court overturned a woman’s right to make decisions about her own mental and physical health. On June 24, 2022, these traitors to our nation put an end to 50 years of progress for women’s rights and overturned Roe v Wade. Their latest attack is focused on the First Amendment. However, over the last nine years Trump and his fascist party have changed me in a manner I do not like. I hate him and many of his party with all the anger they have forced me to experience. If you read me regularly, you know that I am an original “baby boomer,” born in 1946. Therefore, it will not surprise you that I have been a strong patriot for most of my life. In elementary school we recited the Pledge of Allegiance every day at the start of classes. At sporting events I sang the Nation Anthem with pride.
