Is Trump’s Illness More Serious, and Is There Hope for Us?
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart I am the perfect person to confirm that Trump is far too old to be your president. The orange buffoon is older than me by three weeks. If we both live another year, we will be octogenarians. A few facts only those of us who reach such a ‘venerable age’ think about and understand. At the age of 79, I have surpassed the average life expectancy of an American male. The average age in 2025 is 76.1. I would be lying if I told you that mortality is never in my thoughts. I’m not obsessed or greatly concerned with that fact, but it is reality. Every human being has an expiration date. Unlike fresh fruit at the grocery store, we do not know what that date might be. I do know that I am at an age when the basic joys of life have become fewer, or non-existent. All I can do is deal with it and enjoy what life continues to offer me.
