Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart It’s clear that professional politicians on both sides of the aisle are not listening to the American people. We know that those who call themselves Republicans don’t give a damn about the well-being of our nation’s 340 million people. Their loyalty is to Donald Trump and his handler, Vladimir Putin. Democrats apparently believe that Trump’s destructive, fascist policies will encourage voters to choose them instead of members of the American Fascist Party in November of 2026. As usual, they are lazy and simply don’t listen. Those who talk but do nothing will discover an increase in voter apathy, resulting in a low voter turnout. I am an Independent. We and Democratic voters who are in need of leadership are tired of words. We want to see action. Personally, I would think that Democratic politicians would at least join their supporters on the streets, participating in the never-ending protests against Trump and his party. We want assurance that they care about us...

Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart Those of you who read me on occasion or frequently, are aware that I have solid reasons to allege the 2016 and 2024 elections were “rigged” by an arrangement between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. The method used in 2016 was primarily the worst thing to happen to the truth in history, social media. In 2024, U.S. companies discovered evidence encouraging them to claim that Russian hackers gained access to voting machines in all seven swing states and altered the results of the election. That is likely the truth. Anyone who compares the 2020 and 2024 elections, and possesses average intelligence and common sense, will find it impossible to accept the massive changes over four years. However, this does not change the abject failure of the Democratic Party to attract American voters.
