Is It Too Late to Save America?
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart I admit to vacillating between optimism and pessimism. I realize that Trump and his Nazi army are intentionally creating chaos in Washington and every state in the Union. However, now, more than ever, our country needs a great leader. Great leaders are rare, and even more unusual in a country whose freedoms allow the worst in people to rise to the surface. America’s very existence is in jeopardy. The executive branch is controlled by Putin’s puppet and every action Trump has taken in the last six months and 14 days is listed in the right-wing’s fascist manifesto called Project 2025. One half or the legislative branch is loyal to Trump, not to our nation’s 340 million people. Six of the nine Supreme Court Justices are traitors. They are ignoring the intent of the Constitution in support of their fascist leader. It’s very hard to be optimistic. Both political parties are hiding one fact from the American people.
