The Biproduct of Another Illegitimate Trump Presidency: Anger, Hatred, and Violence

Anger, hatred, and violence. This is what I see and what I read about over the last four months. My wife and I do not watch any “television news broadcasts,” because we hate liars and reject conspiracy theories. However, we do read news and blogs from around the world and fact check constantly. Prior to 2017, the United States was on a path to becoming a great nation for the first time in its nearly 249 years. 44 presidents preceded Trump and the ultimate goal was to improve upon the principles and ideals of our Founding Fathers. Trump intentionally moved our nation backwards into the dark days of the mid-twentieth century.

Over the last 10 years, there has been a significant increase in hate crimes. Since January 20, 2025, everything I read about reveals the fact that animosity, driven by fear, and resulting anger and hatred has risen to levels not seen since the mid 1800’s.

My wife was getting gas at Costco today and there was a loud, angry argument just a couple of pumps away. Everything I read confirms that in America, famous for compassion and understanding, has become a country under the control of extreme anger, which always leads to hatred and eventually violence.

It is no secret that the mood of our nation reflects what is happening in Washington. When our nation’s capital is in chaos and uncertainty fills our thoughts, fear of the unknown results in anger. Prolonged fear and anger lead to hatred and eventually violence.

I doubt that I am the first patriotic writer to inform our nation’s people that what is happening in Washington today is frightening and confusing. This is the result of the most incompetent and corrupt government in history. Chaos results in uncertainty and fear encompasses our nation’s populace under Trump and his incompetent and uncaring cronies.

The only men and women complacent with our nation’s current situation are 22.2 million millionaires and 813 billionaires/oligarchs: less than seven percent of our country’s population.

All of this is the “Trump Effect.” This single old, white, fascist continues to cause greater damage to our nation than any horrific event in history. His loyalty to murderous dictators and not to the majority of our nation’s people has affected the lives of more than 340 million people.

We can only blame ourselves. The worst man in the world was undeserving of the vote of any American who loves his or her country. Trump is the antithesis of what it means to be an American.

His criticisms of true and patriotic Americans including Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, and Joe Biden are unfair and based on lies created by the orange buffoon.

Trump is deserving of all the hatred he must endure from all loyal and patriotic citizens of the United States of America.
