Reasons to Despise Elon Musk
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart I have always despised Elon Musk. He should stick to engineering because he sucks at everything else, including efforts to become a respected human being. He is one of America’ s 813 billionaires, which immediately makes him the enemy of most Americans; the working class.
I define this aging fool as an “arrogant prig.” He has no value. If he was not a very rich man, he would have no purpose in American society.
A TRUMP WANNABE
Musk is desperate to be relevant like his fake friend, Donald Trump. When he purchased the company former known as “twitter,” he abandoned Tesla and SpaceX, while ruining a formerly successful branch of social media into a near failure.
Today he reinstated all privileges formerly removed from Trump on “X” and donated money to a group who supports the worst man in the world. Someone tell me again why I shouldn’t hate the super-rich?
AMERICA IS IN A WAR BETWEEN THE CLASSES AND BETWEEN CONSTITUTIONALISTS AND FASCISTS
Some things never change. Remember, our Founding Fathers were all wealthy men who became powerful men. The classes were clearly defined, and lifestyles, today called “quality of life,” were separated and segregated. Slaves were not only acceptable but a part of society in the mid-1700's. Many of the men we revered owned other humans.
Over time, and with the assistance of “the People’s President,” Franklin D. Roosevelt, the gap between rich and poor became smaller. However, racism remained prevalent, and towards the end of the 20th century, income inequality began to widen. Today there is an enormous chasm between the super-rich and one half of our nation’s people who struggle in the low-income and poverty levels of our society.
Musk is a part of a very small percentage of our nation’s people who experience a quality of life most Americans can only dream about. And he doesn’t care about them. Like Trump, he is concerned with himself, and no one else. He is a part of the problem with 21st century America, and doesn’t care if there might be a solution. He cares about Elon Musk, and only Elon Musk.
GREEDFLATION IS NOT A PROBLEM FOR BILLIONAIRES BECAUSE THEY CREATED IT
The super-rich are not concerned with inflation, or more accurately “Greedflation.” However, for the great majority of our nation’s people, 20 dollars is a significant amount of money. Anyone who has only known wealth throughout their lives cannot relate to this fact. This describes Trump, Musk, and many other “Republicans” today.
Along with wealth comes apathy. The super-rich become obsessed with money, and the things money can buy. They seldom consider the struggle most Americans face every day.
God forbid we should lose our jobs, or face a serious medical problem, which not only prevents us from working, but adds enormous debt to our futures. For many Americans, homelessness is one paycheck away.
This is the real America. Movies, television, and the media fail to discuss the problems most Americans face every day.
Musk and his fellow plutocrats don’t give a damn. America is a nation which places profits before people, and this will be the reason it no longer exists in the very near future.
The only power you and I have is our right to vote, and if we fail to vote intelligently, that, too, could end. Your future; your choice.
