Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart There is an important historical point in America’s 249-year history which I hope will be recognized by everyone in the future. I call it the “Pre-Reagan Period.” Reagan not only moved our nation in a 180-degree turn, away from a progressive direction and into our darker past, he also encouraged dishonesty, refusal to work with their brothers and sisters across the aisle, and the end of transparency in government.
