Donald Trump’s Enormous Ego Forced His Biggest Mistake

Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart

It all began in 1987. The KGB sent a message to Donald Trump inviting him and his first wife, Ivana, to Moscow. His acceptance is why he is where he is today.

In 1987 Trump was a 41-year-old businessman living as a pretend billionaire in one of the most exciting cities in the world, New York, New York. However, his enormous ego forced him to accept the invitation. We all know two things about “The Donald.” His minimal intellect is easily overpowered by his need to be famous and relevant. The other issue of importance involves his relationship with Vladimir Putin. In 1987, Putin was a high-ranking member of the KGB, the Russian spy organization. Although there are no official records of the events which took place during that visit, it is impossible not to believe that this was when two of the evilest men in the world began to establish a relationship.

For the next 26 years Trump would enjoy his shallow life as a New York socialite. He attended lavish events, although he was seldom an invited guest. Trump purchased a casino in Atlantic City with the assistance of the New Jersey mafia. He partied with Jeffrey Epstein, and held his own sex parties at Mar-a-Lago. Although his efforts to become a legitimate businessman failed, he was bailed out from possible bankruptcy by Putin and the Saudi Royal family. He had his own “Trump Tower” on prestigious 5th Avenue. He had everything he wanted, and although many of his business “deals” were the result of criminal actions, he never faced indictments for his crimes.

The fact that he was a sexual predator was hidden from the public. Trump had everything he envied: a life of debauchery and privilege.

The Christopher Steele dossier, a written account of the events which took place during the 2013 Miss Universe Pageant in Moscow, is entirely accurate. It was then that Putin played on Trump’s malignant narcissism and promised that he could make Trump America’s president in 2016. He kept his promise and our government allowed this to become a reality. Our leaders knew that Putin was focusing multiple efforts on one thing: a victory for Trump on November 8, 2016, but did nothing while hiding this fact from American voters.

By becoming our nation’s 45th president, Trump forfeited the life he treasured, and became the most hated man in the world. Everything which is happening today is the result of Trump’s own poor choices and an ego which is easily damaged.

He is facing three very serious indictments which could result in incarceration. The simple truth is that if he had not chosen to run for the presidency, he would not be facing time in prison today. Trump proved once and for all that he has a “tiny brain.” He can’t think for himself. He is controlled by his immediate need for attention and validation.

Every uncomfortable and unpleasant situation in Trump’s life was the result of his immaturity and inability to reason. And yet he was gifted the Electoral College in 2016. What a country!
