Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart Today another group of corrupt judges offered additional proof that Trump is above the law, as if we needed another affirmation. The United States is a country without laws and the Constitution has been used for toilet paper. Today, August 21, 2025, a New York State Appellate Court struck down the decision of Judge Arthur Engoron who ordered the orange buffoon to pay nearly one-half billion dollars in reparations after he was convicted of tax fraud. Trump Corporation had long-standing policies of inflating the value of his properties when he sought loans from major banks, and deflating those same properties when filing his tax returns. The court decided that the fine was excessive. However, if Trump is truly a billionaire, which is highly doubtful, the previous decision was more than fair.
