A Few of the Many Reasons Trump Fears Mail-in Voting
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart The 2020 election was historic. I admit that the record turnout was more of a vote against Trump than a vote for Joe Biden. However, Mr. Biden turned out to be one of the most effective presidents in modern history, most notably in his handling of Covid-19, and his extremely successful fiscal policy. Trump’s own election security czar, Christopher Krebs, told reporters that the “2020 election was the most secure and fair election in American history.” Aides claimed that Trump was also aware of this fact. His big lie was nothing less than an effort to appease his ignorant and uninformed supporters. This week Trump promised that he will do everything in his power to prevent states from accepting voting by mail in the 2026 midterm elections. Why is he so afraid of this practice?
