“The Economy is in ‘Pretty Good Shape?’”
Bessent is not quite a billionaire, yet, but he is a perfect
example of how ignorant Trump’s administration is.
Scott Bessent is Trump’s unqualified Treasury Secretary. He is
not one of the billionaires on Trump’s cabinet, but he is worth 521 million
dollars. This one fact prevents the old, white man from understanding what it
is to be a real American in the 21st century.
What they're saying: "There is a little uncertainty,
but in general, the companies I've spoken to, CEOs, who have come into Treasury
tell me that the economy is very solid," Bessent said at a conference
hosted by the American Bankers Association.
Really? Nobody asked me. I can offer you one fact, one
example of how ignorant this Trump stooge actually is.
My wife and I worked for about 40 years each. We chose our
professions badly. The only retirement income we have is what we paid for: our
Social Security.
In January we received a 2.5 percent increase in our monthly
checks. However, the cost of necessities, food, utilities, gas, medical care rose
about 60 percent. If the press asks us about what we think of the economy, we
would only need two words: “it sucks.”
Bessent is another example of who really controls our
country since January 20, 2025. Capitalism evolved into a Plutocracy. 813 oligarchs
and ‘soon-to-be’ billionaires like Bessent, are in complete control of all
three branches of the most corrupt and incompetent government in the world.
The problem with “rule by the super-rich” is that it cannot
survive in a democratic society. This is why they support Trump and his fascist
party. Trump is clearly the leader of America’s Neo-Nazi movement, and his
party has ordained him as their Fuhrer. Am I wrong? Read the Republican Fascist
Manifesto, “Project 2025,” and you will be educated.
A final question: “what do you honestly think about Trump’s
economy.” I would like an answer, regardless of your party affiliation. I do
not believe in political parties, and maybe the answers to my query will explain
why.
