Why have the Events of January 6, 2021, Never Been Re-Broadcasted?

I offer you irrefutable proof that the mainstream television media is in collusion with Donald Trump and his party. The events which happened on the darkest day in American history on January 6, 2021, have never been shown to the American people, allowing them to decide whether or not Trump is our nation’s biggest traitor. If you watched the violent insurrection, you have undeniable proof that Donald John Trump organized, planned and executed an attempted coupe while our government was in the Capitol Building confirming the Electoral College vote during the 2020 election. Over three hours I watched Trump’s people, Neo-Nazi groups and disgruntled former and present members of law enforcement and the military, commit acts of violence, desecrating one of our most treasured buildings, hunting for Mike Pence, and Nancy Pelosi with the intention of murdering the vice-president and Speaker of the House. Meanwhile, Trump was watching the travesty on television inside the White House with no intention of ordering an end to the attack on our democracy. 

Anyone, including  members of Trump’s cult, could no longer doubt the facts when seen by their own eyes if the events were re-broadcast. I can remember everything I saw as if it were a disaster movie and the violence was created by  CGI. However, it was real, frightening, and disgusting. No one, including our military, took any steps to protect our government officials or the Capitol Police for more than three hours. I was ashamed to be an American on that day and since. No one has been fairly punished for committing actions with the intention of overthrowing our government.  

Only one event in our nation’s history was close to the events of January 6, and happened in October of 2016 in the Oval Office. On that day the heads of our country’s security agencies confirmed that Vladimir Putin was interfering in our election with the intent of securing a win for Trump and his fascist party. President Obama, Vice-President Biden, Moscow Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, Chuck Schumer, and Nancy Pelosi, agreed that the voting public should not be informed of the facts. The American people deserve better. We have the right to know if a foreign nation is attempting to take control of our nation through an elected official. This is our nation: the government is elected to serve us, not rule over us.  

Every time our government hides the truth from its people, this action becomes another big step towards the creation of an authoritarian government. Between 2017 and 2021, Trump moved our nation backwards into the 1930s and 1940s when fascism was spreading rapidly. If he were to be allowed to claim the title of President again, he and his mentor, Vladimir Putin, would complete their plan to destroy the Constitution and therefore our nation.  

Become an informed citizen. Credited to many is one quote which cannot be denied: “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
