If You Want to Go to Jail, Work for Donald Trump

Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart

I have simply lost count. Of course, I remember Trump’s former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, and Advisor Paul Manafort, but the list has grown much longer since the “bad old days.” It seems that if you would like to go to jail, work for Donald Trump.

Not to be outdone by his minions, Trump has received 91 felony indictments. That number could grow even larger.

The latest Trump goon to face legal action is an attorney who has frequently been admonished in court, Alina Habba.

How Many Sexual Predators are Employed by Trump?

The situation involves sexual harassment at Trump’s Bedminster New Jersey golf club. Habba is accused of unethical tactics to settle the accusation which involved another of Trump’s infamous “non-disclosure agreements.”

Alice Bianco filed a complaint against food and beverage manager, Pavel Melichar, for numerous actions of sexual harassment in 2021. Habba coerced Ms. Bianco to accept a token settlement and sign a nondisclosure agreement. Bianco sued over the shady deal in November, and last week the golf club agreed to pay her $82,500.

[The deal leaves Habba open to further litigation on the matter, as the settlement includes this very purposeful language: “The parties agree that Alina Habba is not a party to this release.” Bianco’s lawyer told The Daily Beast that “My client is certainly considering suing her for fraud”]

This could affect the status of her license to practice law.

Trump and His Former Employees May All Meet Again in Prison

I remember when Trump told his supporters that “I only hire the best people. That was simply another huge lie. The “best people” will not work for him for many reasons including the fact he never pays them. Just ask Rudy Giuliani.

I must admit that I have trouble finding more bad things to write about Donald Trump. However, I have never found a single good thing to his credit.

Trump made me feel embarrassed for my country and fearful about its future.
