Where is the Sixth Amendment for Trump?

Trump is taking advantage of our country’s corrupt legal system. It undeniably protects the rich and powerful when they commit crimes.  

The Sixth Amendment guarantees the right of a fair and speedy trial when criminal charges are involved. Trump has been granted multiple delays, hoping to avoid punishment for his crimes, at least until after November 5, 2024. 

Where Are the Rights of the People to a Fair and Speedy Trial? 

Trump committed treason on January 6, 2021. He has been a free man for more than 38 months. Where are the rights of the people who watched the worst president in history attempt to overthrow our democratic government? It is an irrefutable fact that if Trump had not been our nation’s illegitimate president, he would have been in a federal internment facility awaiting trial on January 7, 2021. 

Two weeks after the insurrection, Trump stole 14 boxes of classified documents as he left the White House. He later hid them inside Mar-a-Lago where he currently resides. A few of the documents were returned. However, the FBI learned that when Trump claimed he had returned all of them, he lied. A later search discovered many boxes of our nation’s secrets hidden throughout the resort. Lying to the FBI is another federal crime. 

On June 17, 1950, Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were arrested for stealing classified documents. They were executed on June 19, 1953. 

Trump remains a free man.  

Why is Trump Above the Law? 

When I was a young man, I was taught in school that “no man is above the law.” This clearly does not apply to Trump. The truth is, if you and I stole a single top-secret document three years ago, we would be in prison for life, or possibly already have been executed. 

Trump is clearly our nation’s biggest criminal, but Republicans don’t care. He has already clinched the Republican Party’s nomination, although he is a confirmed sexual predator, a traitor, the leader of white supremacy in America, hates the LGBTQ community, an anti-Semite, has a plan to divide our nation, has been charged with 91 felonies, and will end democracy in America, in its place establishing a fascist regime with himself as its Fuhrer. What the f**k has happened to my America?
