There’s Batshit Crazy, and then There’s F**king Insanity

If you live in a red state, it is an undeniable fact that
your state government is batshit crazy. Your governor and state legislators
promote policies which are unconstitutional, and in direct opposition to the
intent of the Bill of Rights. They are clearly racists, bigots, and
misogynists. Although they claim to be Christians, they are the exact opposite,
denying the teachings of Jesus Christ in the New Testament.
TENNESSEE WILL ALLOW ELEMENTARY SCHOL TEACHERS TO BE ARMED
WITH LETHAL WEAPONS
On Thursday, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, announced that he
will signa a bill allowing teachers to have loaded weapons in the classroom. Sister
Mary Elizabeth may no longer carry a ruler to smash your knuckles, if she
chooses, she can have a gun, already loaded with bullets designed to kill human
beings, and offer a serious threat if your child misbehaves.
Okay, I’m just joking. However, I can offer you one fact
which could put your child’s life in jeopardy if a shooter invades your child’s
school.
A FACT ANY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER WILL TELL YOU
The average length of time spent in training facilities by
law enforcement officers in America is 21 weeks. During that time they spend
time in classrooms learning about the laws they will swear to uphold and protect,
rules and regulations, and their responsibility to their community.
They spend even more time training for the situations they
are likely to encounter on the streets of their ciies. They train with several
types of handguns, rifles, and shotguns. They receive training in hand to hand
combat, and how to physically handle an uncooperative suspect. Most
importantly, they receive psychological training about how to react in a life-or-death
situation.
Arming teachers will make them and the children in their
classrooms targets. Any law enforcement officer who has been involved in a
situation where both they and the suspect are armed, will reveal a plethora of
emotions. Hesitating for one-half second can get you killed.
Right-wing politicians would like you to believe that if
teachers are armed, it will be a deterrent in helping to prevent future school
shootings. This is bullshit. In recent incidents, several of the shooters wore
bulletproof vests, etc.
Common sense is not common on the right side of the aisle.
They do as they are told. Their votes have been bought and paid for by
billionaires through their lobbies. Both the manufacturers of guns and their sellers
comprise a billion dollar industry.
I HAVE NOT EXAGGERATED THE FACTS
America has the most corrupt government in the free world.
If this was not true, Trump would have been in a prison awaiting trial for two
acts of treason: the failed coup on January 6, 2021, and again for lying to the
FBI about classified documents he stole from the White House.
However, America’s rich and famous are above the law because
our three branches of government have been corrupted beyond repair.
Nearing my 80th year on earth, I have learned a
very difficult lesson: trust no one in power. This includes our presidents, all
of our elected officials, the Supreme Court, law enforcement, and even our
teachers and religious leaders. They all lie for their own advantage. They do
not serve you or me, they place themselves first.
