I Challenge the Mainstream Media to Focus on Trump’s Diminishing Mental Acuity

Every time Trump speaks to his cult, he proves that his mental ability is in sharp decline. Although Trump never was and never will be an orator, over the last two years his inability to put words together in a clear sentence has become extremely frequent.

Look at this small sample of his ramblings during a hate rally held in New Jersey.

["The late, great Hannibal Lecter. He's a wonderful man," Trump said about the serial killer protagonist from The Silence of the Lambs.

"Congratulations, the late, great Hannibal Lecter. We have people that are being released into our country that we don't want in our country," Trump said, randomly segueing into speaking about immigration.

At another point in the rally, Trump appeared to confuse Beijing with Taiwan, the self-governing island that China says it will eventually reunify with the mainland. Trump said: "If you take a look at President Xi of China, talking about Beijing—now they've got ships circling, they have planes—they're never doing anything."

He also accidentally called former President Jimmy Carter "Jimmy Connors."]

TRUMP IS MENTALLY MUCH OLDER THAN PRESIDENT BIDEN

The press has failed to accurately report the many accomplishments of Mr. Biden over his first three years. His efforts are impressive and affect all of our nation’s people

Trump’s only “accomplishment” over four years was to give additional tax cuts to the super-rich.

Sadly, our nation could have been spared from the damage caused by Trump between 2017 and 2021. During his first year in office, members of his cabinet considered the use of the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from the presidency. He displayed every symptom of the disease known as malignant narcissism. However, they became cowards and refused to do the right thing for their country.

Malignant Narcissism: “a psychological disorder in which a person has an inflated sense of self-worth, a need for admiration, and a disregard for others. They experience paranoia, feeling threatened or persecuted without proof, and are aggressive, manipulative, and abusive without remorse.”

This is a perfect description of Donald John Trump.

OUR GOVERNMENT AND OUR PEOPLE CANNOT ALLOW AN OLD, OBESE, MENTALLY DEFICIENT WHITE MAN TO BECOME OUR PRESIDENT

We, the people, share a responsibility. It would be an even bigger disaster if Trump is able to rig this election, as he and Putin did in 2016, and claim the title of President of the United States.

Trump has no plan and no desire to serve all 330+ million American people. If he is illegitimately elected again, he will spend the next four years seeking revenge on millions of our nation’s people who oppose his fascist agenda, golfing, partying at Mar-a-Lago, holding hate rallies, and watching television while eating junk food. Once again, the West Wing will be filled with Trump’s angry rants, resulting in many resignations.

With Trump in control of our nation’s future, his actions, in collusion with Vladimir Putin, will recreate the chaos and incompetence of the very long four years he reigned over the American people.

My suggestion is simple: refuse to waste your precious right to vote. The truth is that if you vote for Trump or the politicians who support him, November 5, 2024 may be the last fair and secure election in America’s 248-year history.
