Trump Knows How to do Two Things: Lie, and Commit Bribery
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
Trump’s first impeachment was a violation of the
Constitution. He attempted to bribe the President of Ukraine with financial aid,
if he would “dig up dirt” on Hunter and Joe Biden.
Members of New York’s real estate community had reason to
believe that Trump frequently bribed building inspectors, etc., to expedite
repairs, and other necessities to make a sale or purchase.
“Big Adolf” is at it again. Recently, in a meeting with 20
oil company executives at Mar-a-Lago, he proposed “a deal” with our nation’s leading
oil companies. If they would give him one-billion dollars for his reelection
campaign, if he wins in November, he would in turn increase oil drilling and
reverse pollution rules among other pitches.
Does this sound like a violation of campaign finance laws?
Maybe I’m just thinking of a violation of morals, integrity, and a display of a
person with no self-respect. And this revolting criminal wants to be your
president.
THE SLIMIEST MAN IN THE WORLD
We all know two things about this issue. First, little of
that one-billion dollars would go to his campaign. Most of it would find its
way to his personal bank account to pay for rising legal bills.
Second, his desperation for a win in November is based in
the fact that if he is elected, he could theoretically pardon himself from
impending and lengthy prison sentences.
Between 2017 and 2021 Trump violated the Constitution daily.
He used his position to make deals with leaders of foreign nations, used Air
Force One as his personal aircraft to golf, party at Mar-a-Lago, and hold his
infamous hate rallies. None of this was critical to the performance of his
duties. I consider the six-million dollars he wasted every month fraud against
the American people. That’s 288 million dollars of your money.
HISTORIANS WILL NOT BE KIND IF THEY TELL THE TRUTH
Someone, someday, will write the history of America’s
biggest criminal. The tale will begin with the reason why Trump’s academic
records have been sealed.
We know that Daddy Fred paid for deferments from the war in
South Vietnam. The big question is, did he do the same with the purchase of
diplomas from his military boarding school, and the University of Pennsylvania’s
Wharton School of Business?
The story will end with him dying in prison wearing an
orange jumpsuit. No one in our nation’s history deserves severe punishment more
than Donald John Trump.
