Donald Trump Calls the Soldiers Who Died on this Day 80 Years Ago “Fools,” and “Suckers”
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
Another truth you will never hear from the “fake news,” and
that includes all of it, is that Donald Trump is a “draft dodger.” Father Fred
purchased two deferments for his son, preventing his serving in the Vietnam
War.
I wonder how many “things” Fred Trump paid for in Donald Trump’s
life. I question the legitimacy of his diploma from Wharton College. I have
known several individuals who attended Ivy League schools, and all of them have
the ability to communicate with others effectively. Trump displays his own
unique form of illiteracy, constantly.
We know that Fred Trump gave his son 413 million dollars
after he “graduated” from college. We also know that Donny lost every penny. By
1999 he was facing bankruptcy. You might remember that this situation involved
one of his first big lies. In 2015, Trump told his supporters that Fred Trump
gave him just one-million dollars and from that relatively small amount of
money, he built a real estate empire. Trump has never been a successful
businessman. He even failed as the owner of casinos in Atlantic City.
WHAT HAPPENED 80 YEARS AGO TODAY BEGAN THE END OF WWII
June 6, 1944, will be remembered by anyone my age forever.
Although history is of little importance in the 21st century to
younger Americans and all “Republicans,” we honor those who gave their lives on
Normandy Beach 80 years ago.
President Biden is in France today. He is joined by French President
Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Canadian Prime Minister
Justin Trudeau.
"What the allies did here 80 years ago, far surpassed
anything we could have done on our own," Mr. Biden said in remarks
Thursday. "Together, we won the war."
"The men who fought here became heroes — given an
audacious mission, knowing the probability of dying was real," he said.
"But they did it anyway, knowing without a doubt there are things worth
fighting and dying for. Freedom, worth it. Democracy worth it. America worth
it. Then, now and always." President Joe Biden
TRUMP HAS A DIFFERENT VIEW OF OUR MILITARY
In 2018, Trump was in Paris. The purpose of his visit was to
take part in an event honoring the soldiers who fought in WWI, and were buried
in a nearby cemetery: Aisne-Marne Cemetery.
However, on the day of a preplanned trip to the cemetery,
your fake Commander-in Chief declined to attend. It was raining, and he was
afraid of what the weather would do to his fake hair.
As a former member of our military, Trump’s subsequent
comments prevent him from becoming the President of the United States.
"In a conversation with senior staff members on the
morning of the scheduled visit, Trump said, 'Why should I go to that cemetery?
It's filled with losers,'" the article said.
"In a separate conversation on the same trip, Trump
referred to the more than 1,800 marines who lost their lives at Belleau Wood as
'suckers' for getting killed," the Atlantic added, citing four unnamed
people it said had firsthand knowledge of the discussions.
Needless to say, Trump is not honoring our fallen soldiers
who died 80 years ago today.
I could never support Trump: he never was and never would be
my president.
