It’s Going to Happen, and Soon
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
Stories over the last few days continue to explore “if” the
President will resign from the 2024 campaign. Bullshit. It’s going to happen, and
very soon.
It’s logical and necessary for this very successful President
to get out of the ugly world of politics. He should be enjoying his family and
hobbies, not forced to fight with the obstructionists on the right side of the
aisle.
MY PREDICTIONS ALMOST CAME TRUE
In 2023 I wrote an article about the 2024 election. All of
the conversations on the internet involved the displeasure of voters that the
election would be between the same two old men who challenged each other in
2020. No one wanted this to happen with the exception of right-wing politicians
and voters who surrendered to their Fuhrer in 2017. Trump has been the best candidate
the right-wing was able to offer in the last three elections. That’s a very sad
fact.
I predicted that neither Trump nor Biden would be on the
ballot in November of 2024. It has become clear that I was right about
President Biden, and would have been right about Trump if the Supreme Court had
not been corrupted. Trump would be in jail today if the laws applied to everyone
equally as promised by the 14th Amendment.
STOP PRETENDING, IT WILL BE KAMALA HARRIS IN 2024
Several situations are currently happening simultaneously
which prove that Mr. Biden will place his family and his health in priority
number one and pass the baton to Vice-President Kamala Harris.
Not only are leaders of the Democratic Party conferring
about the change, Mr. Biden’s family is discussing his transition.
I am 78, three weeks younger than Trump, and I am tired all
of the time. After suffering from Covid-19, early in 2020, I lost my balance
and use a “roller-walker.” However, like the President, my mind remains sharp
and nearly eight decades of experience have been a great education.
Trump is a very old 78. His affliction with malignant
narcissism has apparently advanced into a rapidly growing form of dementia. The
orange buffoon has always been an embarrassment to himself and the American
people, but what he is doing now is simply sad.
THE GOOD NEWS
The Democratic Party is already united behind Ms. Harris.
There is no doubt that she will be a very good and possibly great president.
This is all good news.
She is 59 years old, and will Turn 60 just two weeks before
the election. I have been ready for a woman president for a long time, and I
believe the rest of our nation is catching up with me. We are tired of old,
white men making a mess of our nation. A woman would place great importance on
a domestic agenda, focusing on the serious issues which remain unsolved. I have
no doubt that she will fight for the majority of our nation’s people, not corporations
and the super-rich: they can care for themselves.
Ms. Harris will bring excitement to the election, something
two old, white men were incapable of doing. Hopefully, she will inspire younger
voters. Her candidacy will certainly motivate women and Black Americans. Her mother
is from India, and this fact will endear her to our country’s growing diverse
population.
WHEN WILL THIS BECOME A REALITY?
I believe that the decision will happen this weekend. Now
that the farce in Milwaukee is over, this campaign will get serious. The
Democratic Convention will begin on August 19th in Chicago, exactly
one month away. Placing Vice-President in front of the cameras now will create
both excitement and momentum before her actual nomination.
I have great admiration and respect for the President. He
has accomplished far more than I expected over the last three-and-one-half
years. For most Americans, his greatest accomplishment is the fact that America’s
economy is the best it has been since Bill Clinton left office in January of
2000.
After repairing the damage caused by Trump and his fiscal
policy of “trickle-down economics,” he found ways to move our nation forward
while saving thousands of lives with the creation of a plan to distribute the
Covid-19 vaccine.
Ms. Harris will continue the successful polices of President
Biden, while focusing her efforts on her own agenda for improving the lives of
all Americans.
I hope you will share my renewed hope and excitement and
tell everyone you know to vote by mail or go to the polls on November 5th.
