Kamala Harris Stands up to Another Bully
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, is the primary
reason why peace does not exist in the Middle East. He has refused to honestly
discuss a solution to the unnecessary enmity between the Israeli and
Palestinian people since his first term as Prime Minister in 1996.
When the terrorist group Hamas murdered 364 Israelis on
October 7, 2023, taking 40 more hostages, no one could find fault with
Netanyahu’s intention to retaliate and hopefully rescue innocent victims taken
during the massacre.
MS. HARRIS EXPRESSES HER OPINION
However, the attacks on Gaza have caused the deaths of more
than 39,000 mostly innocent civilians, and displaced more than 2.3 million. Israel’s
targets include hospitals and schools. This is not retaliation for his nation’s
suffering, it looks more like genocide.
After an angry speech before Congress, and a meeting with
President Biden and Vice-President Harris Thursday, Netanyahu met with Trump on
Friday at his trashy, white resort/home called Mar-a-Lago. He told the orange
buffoon that he was displeased with the Vice President for her comments to him.
She, a woman, dared to challenge another old, white bully by simply mentioning
the growing number of civilian deaths in Gaza, and the "dire humanitarian
situation there."
How dare she ask an honest question from a wannabe dictator,
who recently attempted to eliminate the Israeli supreme court and obtain
absolute power in his country?
ISRAEL AND THE UNITED STATES NEED EACH OTHER
Fact: Israel cannot exist without military aid from the
United States. However, America needs this strong ally in the Middle East. I
believe that what neither country needs is Netanyahu. He is the primary
obstruction to peace in the region.
If Kamala Harris becomes our 47th President,
Netanyahu and his country will need her support. He will be forced to conduct
negotiations with a strong woman.
ONE UNDENIABLE FACT
Israel was granted “Statehood” by the United Nations in
1948. Almost immediately the Palestinian people filed a petition for their own
Statehood. It has been denied many times since.
There will be no peace in the Middle East until a “two state”
solution becomes a reality.
However, Netanyahu is steadfast in his decision to disallow
this to happen. He has been engaged in the process of “land-grabbing” for
decades, and has no interest in the rights or welfare of the Palestinian
people.
Our government is complicit in the situation. America has
vetoed every request from the Palestinian people for 75 years.
A QUESTION
What is Netanyahu afraid of? Does
he believe that a Palestinian State would be a greater danger than what is
happening today?
This makes me curious about why he clearly hates the
Palestinian people. The two peoples are more similar than anyone might think.
The big difference is their religious beliefs. If religion is the real problem,
why?
Every man and woman on earth should have the right to choose
their own religion or none at all. The three major religions; Christianity,
Judaism, and the Religion of Islam teach the same basic precepts. Radicals
within religion are frequently a problem.
Once again, it appears that religion is the greatest danger
to world peace.
